Interlude is a super beach parc in an absolutely enchanting island setting. The perfect place to unwind and get away from it all.

Enjoying the rare distinction of an idyllic island setting, Interlude has an attractively combined covered pool and outdoor pool with a shallow area for young children. This pleasant and relaxing parc also offers a wide range of amenities. For the energetic, there is an excellent gym, as well as a sauna and jacuzzi. Or why not hire a bike and explore some of the many cycle paths the island has to offer? However, it is the splendid beach, just a short stroll away, that is likely to be the chief attraction for families. Basking in long hours of sunshine, the island is ringed with such superb sandy beaches, ideal for swimming and windsurfing. Reached by a toll bridge from the mainland, the Ile de Ré is also a delight to explore.

Local events

The spectacular Tour d'ile de Re Yacht Festival is held on 7th May; the Bordeaux Fete de Vin, a celebration of the region's most famous export runs from 1st to 4th July; Francofolies celebrates French music ans song at La Rochelle between 12th and 17th July, and the weekly Summer Music Festival is held at Pauillac from 22nd July to 26th August.

Getting there

Regional airports at Nantes and La Rochelle make fly drive an easy option. Alternatively, ferries to St Malo, Caen, Cherbourg and Roscoff are available.
