Local recommendations and tips our customers have shared with us following their holiday at Camp Lanterna.
"We visited Rovinj, Novigrad and Porec which were all beautiful and well worth a couple of trips! We took one of the local boat trips which was an excellent way to see the coast. We also visited Pazin which was interesting and the journey there took us through some nice local villages. Some advice if travelling to/from Trieste airport, is to allow plenty of time to get through the border into Slovenia as the queues can be quite lengthy."
E. Campbell, Co. Antrim
"Porec was great for a day trip and eating out. Pula is a larger town and good for shopping and its Roman amphitheatre."
M. Vickers, Cheshire
"At Pula the Roman amphitheatre was amazing, The town of Porec seems like a different place during the day than at night. There are lovely shops and great for walking around. We also enjoyed a boat trip down the coast."
E. Terry, Surrey
"There are plenty of interesting places to visit here, the roads are fairly quiet and the scenery was beautiful. The fjord was very pretty and the fish restaurants were excellent value."
M. Gurney, Avon
