A lively parc with a lovely pool complex, there are many activities to enjoy on parc as well as nearby.

St. Alban is a lightly shaded parc that enjoys a stunning setting and offers plenty to do for even the most active of families. There are two inviting swimming pools and a children’s pool, with a covered pool complex, as well as tennis and mini-golf, plus activities like archery and horse riding in high season. Canoeing on the lovely River Chassezac close by is an added bonus. And at the end of the day, you can also relax over a drink in the pleasant bar. The parc becomes lively in high season too, with a full programme of entertainment that includes cabarets and a disco. Out and about, you will find Barjac and Balazuc well worth a visit.

Out and about

There are outdoor sports a-plenty here - try your hand at rock climbing, mountain biking, canoeing and even pot-holing in the many caves. The famous Pont d'Arc is just 8km from the parc, and the town of Ruoms also 8km away. For something a bit different there's paintballing in the town of Aubernas about 30km away.

    • A bracelet system operates for the entire pool complex including the covered pool area and the fitness room. Bracelets can be otained from reception and kept by the customers for the duration of their holiday. There is a REFUNDABLE charge of €10 per bracelet that is issued and this charge is then refunded back to the customers upon the safe return of their bracelet before they leave the site. Any customers who lose their bracelet will have to forfeit their deposit. Every member of every family has to have a bracelet because without it they will not be allowed to enter the pool complex.

L'Aven - Grotte de Marzal

Grottes de St. Marcel

Discovered in 1838 of geological, archaeological & general tourist interest. 40 km of Galleries. A one hour tour includes a sound and light show & a reproduction of a prehistoric painting. Parc Ornithologique des Isles

Château des Adhémar

The Château de Adhémar is one of the most important examples of Medieval architecture of the valley of the Rhone. It was built by the family of Adhémar de Monteil at the top of a hill dominating the city, which bears its name. (Montelimar means 'the small mount of Adhémar'.) La Bambouseraie

Fascinating exotic place, in beautifully calm natural surroundings. The visitor is encouraged to Re-discover the wonder of this unusual garden. The visit will take 1hre + 30mins and there is an option of a guided tour which takes 30mins that depart every 15mins. Schedules are displayed at the entry desk

Château de Suze-la-Rousse

A château that originally belonged to the Princes of Orange. It was built as a fortress in the 12th Century and was altered in the 15th Century. At its heart there is an Italianate courtyard over arcades. The château is associated with a line of influential nobility of the Beaume-Suze family

Steam Train

A blow of the whistle, a jet of steam and the Locomotive starts up for a trip of 13km, between viaducts and tunnels to discover the ‘gardens’ valley and its fabulous panoramas

Local Directions

From Lyon head south on the A7. Take the exit sign-posted Montelimar North (Exit 17), following signs for Montelier and le Teil on the N7 along the Rhone.As you come into Montelimar, pick up a sign for Nimes, le Teil and Aubenas. Crossing the Rhone will take you into le Teil.As you approach you will come onto a roundabout with 2 exits sign-posted for Aubenas, take the 2nd exit, which will take you through the centre of le Teil. After the town, take a left turn on N102 sign-posted to Aubenas. Continue along this road until you cross a railway track, followed by a left turn onto D103 sign-posted Ruoms and Vallon Pont d’Arc. This road will take you through St Germain and into the village of Vogué. There you take a left onto D579, sign-posted Ruoms and Vallon Pont d’Arc. This road will take you through the villages of Pradons and Ruoms. Following signs for Vallon Pont D’arc you will go straight over a round about with the Super U supermarket on your left hand side. You then come to a large left hand bend in the road before approaching another roundabout. Take the first exit signed Grospierre. You now cross the river Ardeche. Continue on this road untill you turn right opposite the Chauvet garage, sign posted Saint Alban Auriolles. Cross a very narrow bridge over the River Chassezac and then at the T-junction turn left towards chandolas. At the fork in the road, bear left – the campsite will now be on your right hand side.
