Customer tips

Local recommendations and tips our customers have shared with us following their holiday at Château des Ormes.

"Cancale for fabulous seafood!"
L. Finch, Essex

"The old part of St Malo is just gorgeous with lovely shops and cafés. Also the Grand Aquarium is great value and has a really nice viewing room for sharks and giant turtles."
A. Chaudhry, Dumfries

"We visited the town of Dinan which has a very interesting keep as well as medieval town with lots of lovely restaurants. We had Breton crèpes whilst listening to medieval music! A great day out."
K. Middleton, County Durham

"We enjoyed Mont St Michel, and it definitely helped having a back carrier for our baby instead of a pushchair. Alligator Bay was a good visit with loads of crocs, alligators and tortoises! Pont Scorff Zoo was a great day out and put on some fab animal shows, a really good variety of animals. Our 9-month old loved it! Finally at Concarneau we walked around the walled town and the shops, some are quite touristy but you can find some really nice things too. Really nice day out."
R. Jones, Doncaster

"We didn't really go too far. Took a fabulous walk along the canal near Rennes, lovely wide tow path and nice places to eat and drink along the way."
R. Rathbone, Tyne and Wear

"Mont St Michel - excellent! Really enjoyed the abbey and the little souvenir shops in the village. Dinan was really pretty, we hired one of the boats and enjoyed a river trip. Never 'captained' a boat before and we loved the experience."
I. Crawford, Essex
