  • Enjoy the walk into the lovely resort of Benodet

Awarded the prestigious La Clef Verte award, this family run parc has great facilities including a superb pool complex, with waterslides, spa, jacuzzi and indoor pool. There’s also an impressive new health and beauty centre, which is ideal if you fancy a bit of pampering. For the more lively there are popular discos, organised by the parc owners. Nearby Bénodet is well worth a visit, with its multitude of promenade cafes, crêperies and restaurants. And if you want to discover Brittany’s historic and rustic charms, they’re also within easy to reach from here. Customer tips

Local recommendations and tips our customers have shared with us following their holiday at Pointe St Gilles.

"We loved Benodet town and Le Letty beach, which had beautiful sand dunes and when the tide was out was also great for crabbing. My kids loved Bonobo Adventure Park! There are also some lovely walks and cycle rides in the area - maps can be obtained from the tourist office."
C. Pauzers, London

"A short walk from the campsite is Benodet town and the old port, about another 15 minutes away, was really lovely. The beach was really quiet and there are some lovely restaurants. La Foret Fouesnant is also a really nice little town with a very busy market, but get there early as parking can be difficult."
N. Williams, Bedfordshire

"Quimper is a beautiful town with lovely outdoor cafes serving food. St Pol de Leon - again a lovely Breton town and vibrant on market day. There are some great beaches in Benodet, the one directly outside the site is especially lovely, as is the main beach in the town a short walk away."
J. Parry, Herefordshire

"Concarneau town is wonderful. Must visit when the market is on too."
J. Richards, Kent

"The surfing beaches of La Torche are excellent and friendly lifeguards ensure safety. Concarneau was a good day out with fantastic sea food restaurants. The glass bottom boat trip from Benodet to the Glénan Isles was also a highlight for us. Fireworks and the July festivals in Benodet and Quimper were super too."
R. Mansell, Cheshire

"Definitely Concarneau for the old part of the town. Ste Marine near Benodet is a pretty little village where you can enjoy a drink by the quaint harbour."
S. Glasgow, Co. Down

"Check out the Zoo at Pont Scorff if the weather is iffy. Cycling is especially good here, and it is quite easy to find the cycle routes. You can go for miles on minor roads and tracks which are also suitable for children."
A. Manley, Cornwall
