Customer tips

Local recommendations and tips our customers have shared with us following their holiday at La Grande Métairie.

"The adults loved Rochefort en Terre and the kids loved the go-karts and Parc Adrenaline."
W. Walsh, Bedfordshire

"The best place has got to be Vannes which was just beautiful and our favourite beach was in Quiberon - the peninsula is definitely worth driving around. Plus the crèperie just outside the south gates of the parc was fantastic!"
J. Dwelley, Suffolk

"The Aquarium and Butterfly House at Vannes were perfect for a rainy day. Simon's biscuiterie in Plouharnel is also well worth a visit - the Kouign-amann is to die for! If you drive towards Trinité-sur-Mer there are some gorgeous quiet sandy bays. La Baie in Trinité also has a lovely seafood restaurant. Definitely take the boat from Quiberon to Belle Ile-en-Mer - a beautiful place with lots of history regarding the refugees from Acadie in Canada."
J. Thomasson, Gwent

"Must visit the Ste Anne d'Auray Basilica - it was really beautiful. We even attended a mass, held at 11am every day and it was so special to hear a lovely chorister. Closer to parc the beach at Carnac is lovely and swimming in the sea is a must. We also bought our gluten-free food in the big supermarkets in Vannes which was great for us."
J. Warburton, Lancashire

"The crèperie in Carnac Ville was great! The beaches and Men Du and Kervillen were nice. Vannes old town is worth a walk around - the tourist office has a map with some good short guided walks."
A. Scarlett, Middlesex
