L'Orangerie de Lanniron is a fantastic parc with acres of gardens, woods and meadows to explore and play. The facilities are excellent and include a fantastic bar and restaurant, housed in the original stone buildings, plus there's a superb pool complex complete with waterslides, lagoon and children's pools, as well as whirlpool and spa/wellness centre. Activities on parc include bicycle hire, tennis, golf and fishing, and adjacent to the parc at the Créac'h Gwen sports centre you'll find many more activities to take part in in the high season, including watersports. Off parc you're just 2km away from the historic and typically Breton town of Quimper. With its beautiful half-timbered houses and medieval Cathedral, Quimper really is worth a visit or two while you're here.

The old quarter of Quimper is full of pretty half timbered houses and includes the magnificent Cathedrale St Corentin. There are numerous sandy beaches around 15 minutes' drive away and the nearby Breton museum is a fascinating day out.
