Parc Highlights

  • This lively parc offers you a host of activities

  • You'll love the gorgeous views and central lake

  • It is also just 5km away from the delightful town of Salignac

While there is plenty to do on this lively parc, the verdant rural setting also makes it a natural and attractive option.

Superbly positioned just a short drive from the Dordogne valley, Les Péneyrals is a friendly, family-run parc with helpful owners who are always on hand. The high quality facilities include a wonderful pool complex with three swimming pools, water-slides and a heated children’s pool. Best of all, everything is kept absolutely immaculate. Surrounded by lush green countryside the parc enjoys plenty of shade from established trees and even has its own charming little lake, which is a popular spot for fishing. The owners arrange a variety of traditional entertainment throughout the season too, including live bands and weekly discos in high season. And as well as all the other attractions of the Dordogne, both Salignac and Sarlat are just a short drive away.

Customer tips

Local recommendations and tips our customers have shared with us following their holiday at Les Péneyrals.

"The Indian Forest adventure park at Perigord was brilliant for my 7 year old - he loved the challenge and we both really enjoyed climbing through the trees! Gouffres de Padirac was a great place to visit, we took a boat into a cave and it was amazing. Also Maison Forte de Reignac, a manor house built into a cliff face, was a brilliant place to visit but only open for a short while so check opening times. A great day out."
K. Wilkins, Hertfordshire

"Sarlat is an excellent day out, arrive early to find a parking space! The market is worth a visit but do stay after the market has packed up to see the town in all its glory. Castelnaud is an excellent day out too. We also recommend if you wish to visit caves (grottes) with cave paintings that you book tickets in advance before leaving home to avoid disappointment."
P. Kitchen, Northamptonshire

"The Dordogne region was so beautiful. I went to see the caves at Lascaux where the cave paintings are about 17,000 years old! But note that before getting to the caves the tickets must be bought from the visitor's centre in Montignac. The many towns in the region are also very picturesque."
B. Rowlands, Essex
