Out and about

This great parc is just an hour and half from historic Bordeaux. The town itself is listed as UNESCO world heritage site and it has over 350 points of interest. You can wander at your own pace or join an organised tour leaving from the Tourist office. For wine lovers, less than an hour away lies Pauillac with three great châteaux to discover - Château Lafite, Château Latour and Château Mouton-Rothschild.  But if your holiday is all about the beach, there are plenty to choose from nearby with a variety of water sports to try, from surfing, body boarding and kite surfing.
