Local Events

Children's theatre is given a raucous outing at the Voila Enfentillages Children's Festival in Montpellier from 7th to 15th of May; while the Printemps des Comediens Comedy Festival returns to Montpellier for its 21st year from 3rd June to 6th July.You will also find Montpellier host to a major European Dance Festival from 20th June to 5th July.

Out and about

Béziers is less than 16km from the parc and is the principle trading centre of the Languedoc wine industry. The modern harbour resort of Cap d'Agde is about 27km away and is popular for its waterside restaurants and bars as well as boat trips around the bay. Here you will also find a popular aquarium and Aqualand water park.

Local Directions

From the A9 motorway: Exit at junction 35 (Beziers-Est). When you exit the A9 you will come to a roundabout, take the 3rd exit sign posted Vias, Agde Serignan. Go straight over 2 sets of traffic lights and at the roundabout take the 3rd exit in the direction of Portiragnes on the N112. Continue along the N112 for approximately 1 mile, passing the supermarket on your left hand side and the Canal du Midi on your right. Take a right hand turn sign posted for Portiragnes on the D37. The road runs parallel with the canal for approximately 1 mile before coming to a roundabout on the outskirts of Portiragnes. Go straight over at the roundabout and over at the next, continuing on the D37 in the direction of Portiragnes Plage. Follow the road for approximately 3 miles until you reach Portiragnes Plage. Take the 2nd exit off the roundabout in the direction of Plage-Est. Camping Les Sablons is located approximately 200 yds along this road on your left-hand side.
