Customer tips

Local recommendations and tips our customers have shared with us following their holiday at Camping La Chapelle.

"The boat trip to Collioure was excellent. The harbour there is lovely and there's great choice of good food. The local bus service near the parc is very good and inexpensive (we got to Perpignan for €1 per person)."
D. Thompson, West Yorkshire

"Collioure is a must for food and atmosphere. One of our group also walked the coastal path from Argeles and back and highly recommends it. If you use Montpellier airport, we recommend you make a little time to visit Palavas-les-Flots on the coast en-route for a meal (or stroll at least)!"
K. Seacroft, County Durham

"Collioure was a lovely town. Villefranche, a fortified medieval town is well worth a visit. We also enjoyed our day trip into Spain along the winding coastal road."
S. Hahn, Buckinghamshire

"Auberge de Roua in Argeles Village was a beautiful hotel/restaurant with stunningly good food, and although it cost more, the tasting menu was worth the travel to France alone! Amadeus restaurant in Argeles-sur-Mer was a superb quality restaurant close to the parc. The beaches at Argeles were great, and further out at Canet and Sainte Marie de la Mer the sand was even finer. Aqualand at St Cyprien was a great water park for the family. Collioure is a beautiful little town just down the coast and well worth a trip, as is Carcassonne - a definite must-see. Also for supermarkets, the best one is the Carrefour Hypermarche in Argeles Village."
R. Black, Co. Londonderry

"Argeles Adventure Park was excellent and we also enjoyed Aqualand at St Cyprien. We also visited Collioure which was lovely."
M. Sneddon, Lanarkshire

"The caves at Villefranche were amazing! Locally though, all the coastal areas were beautiful."
D. Bevington, Worcestershire

"The Sigean African Reserve! Fantastic!"
M. Alder, North Yorkshire
