It’s highly likely you’ve never heard of Loches, one of the lesser-known gems of the Loire region. Once visited, though, this historic town is never forgotten.
Explore the ramparts and towers of its ‘Cité Royale’, parts of which date from the 11th century, and start your explorations of the Loire’s fairytale châteaux from here. And if you tire of châteaux why not spend a day or two exploring the fabulous vineyards of this beautiful region? Our residence in Loches is beautifully situated on the banks of the River Indre just a few minutes walk from the centre of the town. The 91 apartments are housed in recently-built apartment blocks, which complement the buildings of the restored flour mills around which the residence has been built. There is a small pool, cleverly designed with an indoor section, where you can relax and enjoy the sunshine. When its time to get out and explore, you’ll find shops and restaurants just a short stroll away.
