The historic town of Loches is one of the lesser known gems of the Loire region. Steeped in history it is dominated by the magnificent ‘Cité Royale’, parts of which date from the 11th century. There is much to discover in Loches itself, but the town provides the perfect base from which to visit many of the Loire’s most memorable Châteaux. Chenonceaux perhaps the most famous of all is just a 30 minute drive away. Also close by is the smaller chateaux of Azay-le-Rideau, often called the most romantic of all the Loire’s châteaux. And if you tire of châteaux why not spend a day or two exploring the fabulous vineyards of this beautiful region.

Our residence in Loches is beautifully situated on the banks of the River Indre just a few minutes walk from the centre of the town. The 91 apartments are housed in 3 newly built apartment blocks, which complement the buildings of the restored flour mills around which the residence has been built. There is a small pool, cleverly designed with an indoor section, where you can relax and enjoy the sunshine. With shops and restaurants just a short stroll away, this really is the perfect location for a relaxing holiday.
