Fashionable types have been flocking to Deauville, on Normandy's historic coast, for decades. Yet, refreshingly, this is still a spot of considerable charm. A well-heeled bolt hole for Parisians in need of some bracing sea air, Deauville will captivate those seeking a resort where traditional pleasures are still important. A 'boardwalk' beach, stylish casino, racecourses and marinas all set the style perfectly. But simpler pleasures aren't forgotten either – beachside bars and summer festivals ensure that all members of your party will leave with happy memories. Your residence is set alongside the new Deauville golf course, just 2km from Deauville's harbour. Traditional Normandy architecture – half timbering, stone walls and red tiled roofing – sets this Pierre et Vacances development in a class of its own. Not so traditional, but possibly more essential, your residence has an invitingly large heated pool, jacuzzi and sun loungers!
