Local Events

The spectacular Firework Festival is held in Cannes on 14th July where international teams compete to give the most amazing show; the La Castellada Festival in Nice celebrates the season between 19th July and 2nd September and Grasse celebrates its perfume industry with the Fete de la Rose between 14th and 16th May.

Out and about

The beautiful Verdon Gorge is just over 30km away and definitely worth the visit - aside from marvelling at the views, you can also take part in various activities including fly fishing, hiking, canoeing, rafting and climbing. Further afield is the popular resort of Fréjus, with its zoo and water park as well as a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Further still (but worth the drive) is the stylish city of Cannes.

Camp du Verdon is located near Castellane, a small town northwest of Cannes and Grasse. The site is situated just south of Castellane on the D952. From Castellane follow the D952 in a southerly direction (direction Comps-s-Artuby) for 1.5 kms (1 mile), Camp du Verdon is situated on this road off to the left.
