Out and about

The glamour of St Tropez is close by and definitely worth the trip. A little closer to resort however is the charming marina at Port Grimaud, with its beach and good selection of shops, bars and restaurants. The nearby village of Grimaud is also worth a visit, with its castle ruins waiting to be explored.

Le SpOt for 13 - 18 yrs is a room for teenagers only (adult free), where they can meet up during the day and evening, open from 15:00 - midnight. There is a lounge with a widescreen TV, a soft drinks machine, mixing tables, lights and a dance floor. In the afternoon there are sports tournaments, theatre courses, multimedia activities. In the evening, there are parties with several theme nights like White Nights, thrill, disco and Disney. Please note: At all times, they will be supervised by a professional co-ordinator, so that parents won’t have to worry about a thing!

The resort and surrounding area: The medieval village of Grimaud, the Romanesque church of Saint-Michel, the Rue des Templiers, the castle ruins, the Chapelle des Pénitents, the Chapelle Saint-Roch, the Chapelle Notre-Dame-de la Queste, Saint-Roch windmill, the Pont des Fées (bridge of fairies) and the lake city of Port-Grimaud. A small tourist train runs to Grimaud and Port-Grimaud. From Paris (870 km/580 miles): motorway A8 "La Provençale", exit Le Muy. Then take the D25 direction Sainte-Maxime. Cross Sainte-Maxime and take the N98 direction Saint-Tropez to Saint-Pons-les-Mures. 300 m after 1st roundabout, turn right onto the D244, direction Plan de la Tour. Follow signs to "Les Restanques du Golfe de Saint-Tropez". N.B.: the Pierre & Vacances "Les Restanques du Golfe de Saint-Tropez" village and the "Les Parcs de Grimaud" residence are near each other, and are often confused!
