Located in the heart of the Camargue region, the Residence Club Maeva Camargue is set on a 35 hectare estate just 4 km from Arles, a city of UNESCO World Heritage monuments, and listed as a 'City of Art and History'. 35 km away are the beaches of Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, a village famous for its annual gypsy festival. A region where tradition is resolutely preserved, the Camargue provides a complete change of scene. A city of festivals, art, and culture, Arles has never stopped attracting artists. Van Gogh stayed here with his friend Gaugain and Picasso, a lover of bullfights, was inspired by them to paint here. No holiday to this region is complete without a trip to the Camargue plains themselves; home to the famous white horses and pink flamingos. The Residence Club is a superb family holiday destination with air conditioned accommodation. There is a wide variety of fantastic facilities including 8 swimming pools, badminton, mini golf, sauna, squash and a riding school. The less energetic may prefer to treat themselves to a course of relaxation treatment at the balneotherapy centre.
