Parc highlights

  • Kids’ play area that includes a giant, jumping pillow

  • Eurocamp Active - climbing & free guided walks in May, June and September

  • 10 mins from a lovely lake beach

Rushing waterfalls, labyrinthine caves and soaring mountains, when you’ve the French Alps as a backdrop you really don’t have to try too hard to impress. But that hasn’t stopped Les Fontaines from extending one of the warmest welcomes in Annecy.

When you’ve finished exploring the mysterious Cascade de Seythenex cave system, and the St Ruph waterfall, you can rest assured that a rustic, relaxed parc is waiting for you. Beautifully situated just a few minutes from Lake Annecy, Les Fontaines is a steeply terraced parc, with a large, partly covered pool, plus a paddling pool for the little ones. But the crowning glory has to be the aqua complex, with no less than five water chutes and slides. In the evening you can try a tasty meal in the restaurant, or a relaxing drink on the bar terrace, while enjoying the incredible mountain vistas. A Walking and Wildlife guide will be available on parc for selected dates in early and late summer, providing a range of guided walks.

      Climbing

      cs-climbing-header

There is a multitude of climbing opportunities around Annecy. These limestone mountains offer a wide choice of crags and a spectacular range of routes, all of which are easily accessible from our parcs in the area. Chamonix and Mont Blanc are both just 45 miles from Annecy, offering the most concentrated mountaineering area in the world and a major sports climbing venue. North of Annecy, for serious thrill seekers, is the huge via Ferrata in Thrones, renowned as the most difficult in this climbing region. The awe -inspiring Gorges du Fier is definitely worth a visit, where you walk through a narrow canyon on a footbridge attached to the rock face, as the river rushes directly beneath you.

We had a great holiday at Les Fontaines, great location and a decent park; the facilities were very good and although there were one or two gripes there was nothing overall that I would say gave us a problem. Would certainly come back to this area / park again. We came at the back end of the season so it was nice and quiet and as I understand a few earlier the park / area was very busy so that would affect my decision again.

Nice park with great swimming complexes (shame they're separate). Bar area too small, nowhere for families to congregate in evenings if not using restaurant. WiFi limited to small bar area and far too expensive given pathetic range.

A lovely peaceful park set in an outstanding location, everyone was incredibly friendly, our courier was excellent. We had loads of fun with plenty to do. The drive was a bit long so would stop over night next time. With out a doubt the best euro camp site that we have experienced.
