Parc highlights

  • Lake Annecy is only 1 km away and offers lots of water sports

  • Eurocamp Active - climbing & free guided walks in May, June and September

  • Pop in to Doussard to sample the shops and restaurants

If you’re looking for a holiday that mixes paddle-perfect beaches and countryside fit for clambering, why not try staying lakeside at La Ferme de la Serraz?

The shores of Lake Annecy wash up just 1 km away from La Serraz - a parc with lovely walks, and hikes into the hills leading straight from your door. There are two pools, including one for toddlers, and a bar serving food on parc, but the village of Doussard, only a short walk away, makes for an enjoyable alternative to eating at your place. You can also catch a bus from here to Annecy which, with its flower-lined canals and arcaded streets, is a great attraction, while both Italy and Switzerland are just a short drive away.

      Climbing

      cs-climbing-header

There is a multitude of climbing opportunities around Annecy. These limestone mountains offer a wide choice of crags and a spectacular range of routes, all of which are easily accessible from our parcs in the area. Chamonix and Mont Blanc are both just 45 miles from Annecy, offering the most concentrated mountaineering area in the world and a major sports climbing venue. North of Annecy, for serious thrill seekers, is the huge via Ferrata in Thrones, renowned as the most difficult in this climbing region. The awe -inspiring Gorges du Fier is definitely worth a visit, where you walk through a narrow canyon on a footbridge attached to the rock face, as the river rushes directly beneath you.

We've used both Keycamp and Eurocamp numerous times over the years and regard ourselves as people who very much enjoy the outdoor experience.
However, this was overall a disappointing experience even taking into account the variable weather.

Brilliant holiday, fantastic area and, for us, the camp site is well located. Surrounding area is fantastic with more than enough to do over two weeks without having to travel too far - we went as far as Chamonix and Geneva

The accommodation was clean and tidy and the kitchen well equipped. The parc itself was tidy and well maintained and we enjoyed being ableto buy fresh braed each day from the site. It was rather noisy for our family

      Confirmed holidaymaker

On arrival at the site following a 8 hour journey, the courier noted that there were 8 of us, as per the booking, and then stated oooh its going to be tight in your caravan. The caravan is either big enough for 8 people or it isnt. Also, there were 8 of us in our accomodation, but only 6 seats outside to sit on, so we could not eat together. No thought on the part of the couriers and their attitude spoiled things.
