Customer tips

Local recommendations and tips our customers have shared with us following their holiday at Le Clarys Plage.

"We went to St Gilles Croix de Vie a couple of times, the shops were great, harbour lovely and restaurants excellent. We also went to the Feeling Forest for a walk which we also really enjoyed."
J. Brittell, Merseyside

"Puy du Fou was a superb day out and an experience like none available at home, about 2 hours from the parc and worth the drive."
A. Turner, Cheshire

"Not far away is Apremont, where a river runs through it and you can hire pedalos and canoes. There is also a man-made lake with a designated swimming area and manned lookout. There's a lakeside beach and just behind is a bar/restaurant with a great mini-golf area. The town and château too are well worth a visit. Ile de Noirmoutier was beautiful - travel over the causeway if you can, it's a great experience. Very pretty and has a great château."
I. Anderson, Buckinghamshire

"Apremont with its château was very good and the Machine Museum in Nantes with the mechanical elephant was certainly a unique experience."
R. Hardy, London

"The Feeling Forest high wire park was great fun. We also enjoyed the Atlantic Toboggan water park, and recommend going between 4-7:30pm as it's cheaper and not too hot."
B. Ronson, Merseyside

"The Atlantic Toboggan water park up the road was excellent - well worth going to on a nice day. You can buy food there or take a picnic with you."
J. Thornton, Hertfordshire

"The Velo Rail was excellent. You got to see the countryside without roads as the 'railway' went through fields and over a stream."
A. Hardcastle, Kent

"St Gilles was beautiful - great bars, restaurants and a lovely harbour."
M. Anchor, Lancashire

"St Jean de Monts is an exciting place to visit with plenty of places to eat. The beach front area is ideal to walk along at any time of day with plenty of parking. St Gilles is a busy town to visit - especially on market day. Cycling is also an excellent and safe way to get around the area."
C. Pinkney, County Durham

"The Velo Rail was excellent fun, we all enjoyed it. We also enjoyed the Zoo at les Sables d'Olonne and the miniature village at Bretignolles-sur-Mer."
S. Churms, Shropshire
