Out and about

Families will love Le Puy du Fou, (1.5hrs away) where you can watch falconry, jousting, magic and music, all within a reconstructed Norman fort, a medieval town and an 18th-century village.  They even have evening shows with a 1000 local actors dramatising history in front of your eyes.  Or why not visit the lovely beaches at Brétignolles, which are just a short drive away.  You can relax on the golden sand, and try and ice cream or two as you enjoy the sunshine.
