As one of Europe’s largest parcs, there are many things to do here, plus a nearby ferry takes you to Venice.

The Aquamarina park is very popular, and contains an Olympic-sized swimming pool, large children’s pool and water slides. And with bars, restaurants and shops situated along the promenade some distance from the Eurocamp accommodation, there really is something for everyone. From the beginning of June, the ‘animatore’ also organises a variety of activities and evening entertainment for all the family. With many pitches situated in beautiful woodland, this is a great place to relax, as well as offering plenty of activities for the more energetic. The parc’s stunning beach has direct access and there is a convenient bus link to Punta Sabbioni, where you can take a boat to Venice.

Ferry shuttle available between Marco Polo and Punta Sabbioni.

Local Events

Festivals here tend to have a seafaring theme, and include the international Vogalonga Boat Race in Venice on 30th May, the Ascension Summer Festival on 15th May, which celebrates Venice's symbolic marriage to the sea and the Old Maritime Repuiblics Race in Venice on 5th June, between teams from Amalfi, Genoa and Venice itself.

Out and about

The obvious place to go and visit is of course, Venice. You can take a bus from the parc and then a boat across the lagoon and spend a magical day strolling through the narrow streets, marvelling at the architecture, drinking coffee in the cafés, riding in a gondola... Closer to Punta Sabbioni is Lido di Jesolo, a bustling resort with designer boutiques. Aqualandia is about 16km away. It's considered to be the premier water park in Italy and is home to the tallest waterslide in Europe.

Parco Aqualandia

One of Italy's largest waterparks. Numerous swimming pools and water slides. World's highest slide (42 metres). Other activities include gym, beach-volley, water fitness, diving lessons, climbing and bungee jumping. Good restaurant area and pizzeria. Children's club.

Punta Verde Zoo

Punta Verde is a privately-run zoological garden with over 70 different species.

Punta Sabbioni

Punta Sabbioni is a village in the municipality of Cavallino-Treporti the far southern coast of that which separates the lagoon from the sea. From here you can catch a 30-minute ferry to Venice.

Local Directions

From the A4 Motorway: Take the dual carriageway for about 10 km and come off at the exit Airport/Jesolo/Belluno. Follow signs for Jesolo and Airport. Go straight on at traffic lights and follow signs for Jesolo. Keep going straight on until you come to a slip road to the right sign posted Jesolo. Turn down this road. Go straight on at traffic lights and take the immediate first road on your right after small bridge. Go straight on and follow signs for Jesolo, Cavallino and Punta Sabbioni. You should pass 2 roundabouts. Go straight on at the roundabout and pass the bridge at Cavallino Tourist Port. Continue along this road (Via Fausta). This will take you pass the villages of Cavallino, Ca’Ballarin and Ca’Savio all the way to Punta Sabbioni. Keep following signs for Punta Sabbioni. You pass villages Ca’Ballarin, Ca’Vio and Ca’Savio. Follow signs for camping Marina di Venezia turn ;eft. The campsite will be at the end of this road. When you enter the campsite follow signs for Marina 2000 which will be on your right.
