Out and about

The closest town to the parc is Comacchio and has a number of historical buildings to see, including the seventeenth century Church of the Rosary. Pomposa Abbey is a benedictine monastery which was occupied until the seventeenth century, and its pretty grounds are an ideal location to stop for a family picnic. The attractive town of Ravenna is in easy reach, famous for its mosaics and listed monuments and is home to the Mirabilandia fun fair. Further afield - but absolutely worth the trip - is the magical city of Venice.
