  • Enjoy the laguna and Olympic style pools

  • Ideal for day trips to Elba from Port Piombino

  • Close to the Tuscan coast for the best of both worlds

Surrounded by fragrant pines and close to a perfect beach, the parc also offers a host of activities.

Hidden behind pine forest lies Park Albatros, one of Tuscany’s largest parcs. Spread over 30 delightful acres, the parc is surrounded by the Maremma pine forest, which itself faces out onto the sparkling water. There’s also a fantastic sandy beach, where you can enjoy long days in the sun and beach activities galore. Alternatively relax at the parc’s swimming pool. The parc also offers a bazaar, pizzeria, supermarket and bar, but for those who wish to go out and about, Piombino is just 15kms south of the parc, with its narrow streets and harbour.

Customer tips

Local recommendations and tips our customers have shared with us following their holiday at Park Albatros.

"Siena is stunningly unspoilt. We also visited Pisa and Florence but you have to get there early to book to go up the leaning tower or to enter the Uffizi Gallery."
J. Emsley, Lincolnshire

"I recommend the parc's excursion to Elba. If you wish to explore yourselves, take the train from San Vincenzo to Florence, Siena and Rome. There are no morning buses to San Vincenzo however so would need to book a taxi in advance."
M. Wilson, East Lothian

"We visited the archeological sites at Baratti and Populonia with a visit to the museum in Piombino, where the old town is also worth a look. San Gimignano is great for its medieval towers. Travelling there via Volterra means a lot of hairpin bends but there is an alternative flatter (longer) route. It's also worth noting that in the cafés you must order and pay first then take your receipt to collect your food/drinks afterwards!"
K. Provan, Dunbartonshire

"Florence is always worth a visit, whether you drive or take the train, as is a trip to Elba. Recommend Pisa for the leaning tower in the morning then into Florence for a long afternoon into the early evening."
R. Steele, Gloucestershire
