With entertainment for all ages and organized trips to both Rome and Pompei, I Pini is perfect for families who like to keep busy on holiday.

This friendly parc is ideal for families of all ages, thanks to a superb animation programme, not to mention the choice of a swimming pool or brand new lagoon pool for 2010. There are also daily coach trips to Rome, plus trips to Pompei, all organised by the parc’s very friendly English speaking owners; as well as a twice daily bus service direct from the parc to Rome, making this the ideal way to discover the Eternal City from your base in the peace of the countryside. You can also explore the woodland that surrounds the parc and after a busy day, retire to the friendly restaurant. Family Park I Pini is an ideal, family-friendly destination for all those wishing to discover Rome, Pompei, Lake Bracciano and the lovely area around it. The owners will even organize airport transfers, should you prefer to leave the car at home. Our 11th year at this parc.

Out and about

If you plan on visiting just one place off-parc, it should of course be the amazing city of Rome. Located less than 50km away, there is an array of attractions and touristic feasts, including the numerous fountains, statues and monuments, the Spanish Steps and of course, the Vatican. The Archeological Museum in the city of Monteretondo is just 15km from the parc.

Parco di Bomarzo (Monster Park)

This is a large rather strange garden in which mysterious forms in the shape of ogres, dragons, bears and mermaids have been sculpted from the rocks. Children can climb all over the statues and explore the strange house that leans and tilts

Lake Bracciano

Local Directions

Driving from the Rome ring-road (GRA – Grande Raccordo Anulare), exit at Fiano Romano, and where the slip road forks, keep to the right (the left forks lead into a service station and back onto the motorway). After the tollbooths, take the left fork and the road loops back under the motorway to bring you onto the opposite carriageway of the motorway back into Rome. Take the right turn exit for Fiano Romano again bearing right (the left fork leads into a service station). From the A1 motorway (Florence – Naples), take the Roma Nord exit and continue for 3 km to the tollbooths at Fiano Romano. After the tollbooths take the right turn exit for Fiano Romano bearing right. Passing the Holiday Inn and a Multiplex Cinema to your right this road leads to a roundabout. At the roundabout turn right for 3 km towards Fiano Romano centre. Here there is a petrol station on the right and a public car park to the left. Take the first left immediately after the car park and follow this road for 3 km.The road to the campsite is sign posted to the right. Follow this road for 500 m and the campsite entrance is on the right.
