Local recommendations and tips our customers have shared with us following their holiday at Castell Montgri.
"We've visited this area for many years and find the harbourside town very nice. The coastline is scenic with sheer cliffs dropping straight into the sea. Heading north along the coastline there is a tunnel through the cliff 50m long. You can take a glass bottom boat to this point then take a small boat or kayak through the tunnel. Roses is worth a visit and there are some good Spanish restaurants all around the area. Harvey's in Estartit is good for some decent English food."
D. Anderson, Hertfordshire
"We liked Barcelona, the local beach at Estartit, JOCS fun park, Aquadiver waterpark and the glass bottom boat trip."
R. Whiteley, South Yorkshire
"We recommend Girona, Cadaques and Figueres in that order! Estartit had a really good seafood restaurant at the end of the harbour."
L. Barnes, Essex
"We loved Barcelona and the glass bottomed boats."
K. Baker, West Midlands
"We liked La Scala and its market, trips to Pals and Empuries, plus Sant Marti and Girona are recommended. We also really liked Estartit and its beaches, boat trips and harbour."
A. Walters, Cornwall
