While it is next to an inviting beach, El Delfin Verde also offers a host of activities and amenities on parc.

El Delfin Verde really is a first class parc with an outstanding range of facilities. Ideally positioned alongside a magnificent sandy beach that stretches for miles, it is highly popular with sun seekers. The parc itself is large and modern, with several bars and restaurants and a wide range of sporting activities, as well as dances, discos and ‘fiestas’ for all the family in high season. The parc’s centrepiece is the fabulous dolphin-shaped swimming complex, which includes one of the largest fresh water pools on the Costa Brava. You’ll be glad of a cooling dip too, as even the pitches enjoy hours of glorious sunshine, ideal for the serious sun-worshipper. Out and about, you will find Figueres with its Dali museum just an hour away.

Local Events

Festivals range from the world-famous Barcelona Guitar Festival from 15th March to 15th June, to the rustic charms of the Snail Festival in Lleida from 20th to 22nd May. The European Balloon Festival in Igualada from 6th to 10th July on the other hand, is a spectacular display of around 40 hot air ballons from around the world.

Out and about

Waterworld at Lloret de Mar is the largest water park in Europe, and is about an hour and a half drive away making for a perfect family day out, as does Marine Land, offering waterslides and dolphin shows. Take a boat trip around the Medes Islands, just about a mile away from the mainland, on a glass-bottomed boat, or go snorkelling or scuba diving in the clear warm sea.

Local Directions

A7 motorway at junction 5 signposted L’Escala/L’Estartit. After the peage turn left onto G 1623 direction l’Escala/l’Estartit. Follow this road for about 20km until you reach a large roundabout (there is a small tourist information centre over the roundabout and to the right). Continue straight over the roundabout, and you will very shortly come to a second roundabout. Continue straight over again in the direction of 'Torella de Montgri'. The road climbs uphill and bends to the left. Turn right down a sliproad onto the G1632 signposted 'Torrella de Montgri 11km/L’Estartit 17km'. You will pass by a small industrial area on the right. At the roundabout go straight over and continue for approximately 5 miles, passing ‘L’Escala Karting’ on your right hand side and passing through the small village of Bellcaire d’Emporada. At the end of the road you will come to a T junction where you should turn left onto the G1640 sign posted ‘L’Estartit’, passing through the small village of Ullà. This road will bring you into ‘Torroella de Montgri’, where you will pass a Renault and Ford garage on your left hand side before coming to a roundabout. At the roundabout go right and continue for approximately 200 yards down La Rambla of Torrella where you come to a further roundabout. Go straight over, crossing over a river as you leave the town and straight over again at the next roundabout. The Campsite El Delfin Verde is approximately 500 metres further down this road on the left hand side. Look for the Delfin (dolphin statue) and turn left. The road leads to Mas Pinell where the campsite is.
