Set right in the heart of the Costa Dorada, Cambrils is a typical Mediterranean village with a long-standing fishing tradition. Its history dates back to Roman times, when it was known as Oleastrum, “the city of the oil”. It is a strategic bridge between different cultures and eras. Visitors to Cambrils can enjoy spacious, radiant beaches and its fishing and yachting harbour. The Pueblo Eldorado is set on the edge of Cambrils in a quiet location. Its unique beach front location is perfect for you to enjoy one of Europe’s most highly-rated beaches with first class quality sea water. These fine sand beaches are an ideal place to spend a typically relaxing day with regular visits to the pool. There are a variety of restaurants where you can enjoy delicious Mediterranean and international cuisine and a welcoming atmosphere, all of which are surrounded by gardens, very close to the sea and with excellent service. Our sports facilities are supervised by qualified monitors who will help you improve your level or give you beginners’ coaching in whichever sport you choose. If you wish to take good care of your health and relax, the spa centre offers you a wide range of therapeutic and beauty treatments.

For theme park fun, make sure Port Aventura is on your must-visit list. Cool down at the Aquapolis water park, also just a short drive away. Ancient Tarragona, with its amphitheatre ruins, is within easy reach, and further afield is the great city of Barcelona; eat at the wonderful seafood restaurants on the harbour, stroll the Ramblas, tour the Nou Camp football stadium, marvel at the incredible architecture, including the famous Sagrada Familia cathedral...the list is endless.

Port Aventura

Large Theme Park with 5 different areas - Far West, Mexico, China, Polynesia and Mediterranea. A Great selection of rides, shows, Rollercoasters and games for the whole family. More than a million square miles of scenery. Excellent choices for places to eat and drink. Open 27/3 - 31/12 - closed weekdays in November and some in December.

AquaLeon Costa Daurada

A day packed with excitement for the whole family. A natural wild safari park with more than 600 animals. Exhibitions with marine animals, reptiles and birds of prey. The aquatic park has spectacular slides, wave pool, foam slide and crazy river. Self-service restaurant, cafeterias and shop.

Zoo - Barcelona

Barcelona Zoo first opened its gates in 1892. It is set in magnificent gardens covering 13 hectares of Ciutadella Park. It contains a collection of some 7,500 animals from more than 400 species, which have come from all over the world.

Monastery of Poblet

The Monastery of Santa Maria de Poblet is a Cistercian monastery founded in 1151 by Cistercian monks from France. Closed down due to the State’s laws in 1835, the monastery was refounded in 1940 by Italian monks of the same order. There are 33 monks living in the monastery today.

Local Directions

Leave the highway A7 at exit number 37 (Cambrils). Go in direction to Cambrils and turn right into the national road 340 in direction to Valencia. After 1,5km there is a sign “Urb. Marcambrils y Eldorado”, turn left and cross the railway. You will find the entrance of our resort and the reception on the left side.
