Parc Highlights

  • The grounds of the parc are absolutely stunning

  • Excellent facilities including archery, mini golf and a gym

  • The facinating ruins close by are well worth a visit

With its superb pool complex, beautiful setting and nearby beach, it’s no wonder that this is such a popular choice.

The pool complex is outstanding and a superb beach lies close by. Park Playa Bará is one of our most popular parcs, for many reasons. Most obvious perhaps is the superb pool complex with its array of pools, slides and jacuzzi. Playa Bará is more than just a great pool however. It enjoys a beautiful setting with plenty of cool shade, and many of the parc’s activities take place within a stunning Roman amphitheatre. There’s every amenity too, from an excellent restaurant to an indoor gym, mini golf, tennis and even an underground disco. You will also find one of the Costa Dorada’s finest sandy beaches close by, and with it a warm sea, which is ideal for windsurfing. The parc also benefits from an enthusiastic owner, who makes sure that parc rules are respected, making it a pleasure for all.

Customer tips

Local recommendations and tips our customers have shared with us following their holiday at Park Playa Bara.

"We loved the beach accessed from the parc. The must-visit place for us is Sitges - better than St Tropez! The Spanish markets are great for local produce."
I. Nicholson, Avon

"We visited Montserrat using our hire car - it's a very busy World Heritage site and we recommend you take the cable car from the bottom of the mountain to travel to the monastery. Take a picnic too as food and drinks were quite expensive. Also drove into Tarragona and thought it was a lovely town, easy to walk around and plenty of historical sites to see. You can walk right down to the Roman amphitheatre."
S. Ryan, Oxfordshire

"Castell Calafell was a real gem. Barcelona was great, especially the Nou Camp. Also loved snorkelling by the rocks on the beach - loads of fish to see!"
P. Carlton, Leicestershire

"We loved the coastal walk to the beaches and recommend you turn left when accessing the beach direct from the campsite. Also, Calafell slide is fab!"
L. Beasley, Worcestershire

"We visited the Jungle Park - it was the best thing my children ever did! They spent 2 hours on zip wires flying from branch to branch through a forest for just €15. Great value."
L. Reid, Wicklow

"We went to Tarragona twice as it was such a comfortable journey on the bus. It's a lovely city, the amphitheatre is a must-see."
C. Dyson, Lancashire
