An hours drive from Barcelona

Palm-fringed pools and excellent facilities make Cambrils Park one of our best-sellers, year after year.

Cambrils Park is very attractive, with the pool complex very much a centrepiece. You’ll not only find elephant waterchutes and a dragon slide but there’s also a fun filled themed pool. As welcoming to children as adults, there is a very professional animation programme here, with lots of involvement from the parc’s own ‘Parky’ character. Guests can enjoy mini-golf, tennis, soccer, aerobics and excellent facilities all round. There are shops, bars and a restaurant on parc not to mention a fine beach with watersports less than 1km away. While staying at Cambrils Park, why not take a trip into Barcelona, just over an hours drive, or an hour and a half by train.

Road noise can sometimes be heard from some of our emplacements.

Please note that there are not any bedrails available on this parc. The single beds in the bungalows are low, and two can be pushed together if necessary.

Local Events

Festivals range from the world-famous Barcelona Guitar Festival from 15th March to 15th June, to the rustic charms of the Snail Festival in Lleida from 20th to 22nd May. The European Balloon Festival in Igualada from 6th to 10th July on the other hand, is a spectacular display of around 40 hot air ballons from around the world.

Out and about

The bustling resort of Cambrils is close to the parc and is a perfect place to spend lots of family time. Choose from several fantastic beaches, restaurants and bars, or take part in the various watersports on offer. Tarragona is a short drive from the parc, and further north is the exciting city of Barcelona, with its incredible Gaudi architecture, famous Ramblas, inimitable cathedral, harbour and great seafood restaurants... The list goes on. Most definitely worth the trip.

Large Theme Park with 5 different areas - Far West, Mexico, China, Polynesia and Mediterranea. A Great selection of rides, shows, Rollercoasters and games for the whole family. More than a million square miles of scenery. Excellent choices for places to eat and drink. Open 27/3 - 31/12 - closed weekdays in November and some in December.

AquaLeon Costa Daurada

A day packed with excitement for the whole family. A natural wild safari park with more than 600 animals. Exhibitions with marine animals, reptiles and birds of prey. The aquatic park has spectacular slides, wave pool, foam slide and crazy river. Self-service restaurant, cafeterias and shop.

Zoo - Barcelona

Barcelona Zoo first opened its gates in 1892. It is set in magnificent gardens covering 13 hectares of Ciutadella Park. It contains a collection of some 7,500 animals from more than 400 species, which have come from all over the world.

Monastery of Poblet

The Monastery of Santa Maria de Poblet is a Cistercian monastery founded in 1151 by Cistercian monks from France. Closed down due to the State’s laws in 1835, the monastery was refounded in 1940 by Italian monks of the same order. There are 33 monks living in the monastery today.

Local Directions

From The North: From the Spanish Border take the A7 motorway following signs for Barcelona (approximately 180km). Outside Barcelona, the motorway will split, 2 lanes for Barcelona and 2 lanes for Tarragona, etc. Follow the signs for Tarragona. Stay on this motorway all the way down following signs for Tarragona and Valencia. Keep on the motorway for about 90km from Barcelona, pass the turn off for Tarragona and take exit 35 for Salou and Vila Seca. After the peage follow signs for Salou, then follow this road (signposted for Salou) as far as the T-junction at the beachfront. Turn right here and follow the beach road for about 5km. After the petrol station on the right (‘SHELL’), take the right turn. There is a big signpost before the petrol station for Cambrils Park. Cambrils Park is approximately 700m down this road on the right. Off AP7 turn off junction 35 and follow signs for Salou, coming out at the Go Kart track then at the roundabout take first exit Cambrils. Drive straight until you see the Cambrils Park Bungalows on the left. At the roundabout go left pass bungalow reception and follow sign on the left to the site reception.
