Local Events

Festivals range from the world-famous Barcelona Guitar Festival from 15th March to 15th June, to the rustic charms of the Snail Festival in Lleida from 20th to 22nd May. The European Balloon Festival in Igualada from 6th to 10th July on the other hand, is a spectacular display of around 40 hot air ballons from around the world.

Out and about

You're just half an hour's drive or train ride away from the wonderful city of Barcelona to the north, and the excellent theme park Port Aventura to the south. About 30km away is Aqualeon, the only combined water and safari park in Europe. Sitges is a lively resort situated just 9km from the parc, renowned for its bars, restaurants and nightlife. Slightly further afield, sample the shops and restaurants in medieval Tarragona, and the great beach resorts of Salou and Cambrils.

Aquarium - Barcelona

Meet the penguins face to face along with the most dangerous of fish and discover the mysterious world of sharks in the 80m underwater tunnel. There are more than 325 species on show with dolphin show, play area, mini train and pony rides. Open all year.

Large Theme Park with 5 different areas - Far West, Mexico, China, Polynesia and Mediterranea. A Great selection of rides, shows, Rollercoasters and games for the whole family. AquaLeon Costa Daurada

A day packed with excitement for the whole family. A natural wild safari park with more than 600 animals. Exhibitions with marine animals, reptiles and birds of prey. The aquatic park has spectacular slides, wave pool, foam slide and crazy river. Self-service restaurant, cafeterias and shop.

Aquopolis

Aquopolis has a full range of aquatic attractions including the Kamikaze slide, the Black Hole and the thrilling Aquamania - a triple slide, straight slides, twisting slides, river rapids, a wave pool, a hydrotherapy pool and a swimming pool with various fun attractions. There is an area for small children and a games area for all the family with mini-golf and bumper boats. Many extra facilities including pizzeria. Open all year apart from 27/12.

Local Directions

From Reus: take the AP7 motorway (junction 34) from Reus/Tarragona East (direction Barcelona). At junction 31, leave the AP7 and join the C32 again direction Barcelona. Continue on the C32 until junction 26. Leave the C32 and head towards Villanova Park, right at the roundabout, parc signs are picked up from here and you will see the flags. The parc is on the left. To access the parc, the road filters off and you wait at a junction to cross the traffic. From Barcelona: From Barcelona take the C32 direction Sitges/Tarragona and leave at Junction 26. Join the C31 towards Cubit and Cunelles. Second exit is Vilanova and L'Arboc, the BV2115. Take this junction and at the top turn right towards L'Arboc and the parc is 1000 m on the right. In both directions there are local tolls to pay.
