Out and about

The gorgeous white sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico are just a few miles away and ideal for sunbathing and fishing. St Petersburg Pier is great for speciality shops and entertainment and is also home to an aquarium. Busch Gardens theme park at Tampa Bay is in easy reach for the adrenaline junkies, and for a slower pace, the Pinella's Trail is perfect for strolling or cycling, located just opposite the parc.

Pinellas Trail

This 34 mile trail runs alongside the campsite at St Petersburg and it is a unique greenway corridor linking some of the county’s most picturesque parks, scenic coastal areas and residential neighborhoods. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy open spaces, flora and fourna; including ancient live oaks, trailing Spanish moss, quiet waterways and tidal streams with all varieties of land and water birds.

Sunken Gardens

The Sunken Gardens are owned by the City of St. Petersburg and have been renovated into an excellent attraction. This is a botanical paradise in the midst of a bustling city, and this 100 year old tropical garden is home to some of the oldest botanical specimens.

The Pier, St Petersburg

Shop, dine (casual to elegant), visit the aquarium, or play miniature golf at the latest of the St. Petersburg piers extending a quarter of a mile into the bay.

Historic, picturesque, and unspoiled, Tarpon Springs is composed of delightful residential areas, clustered around beautiful saltwater bayous and other waterways. With approximately 15 restaurants and more than 100 shops, the Sponge Docks offer something of interest for everyone.
