Personal Insurance 2014

Personal Insurance for holidays in 2014

Family on beach

As well as making good sense, it is a condition of booking that you are adequately insured. This can be done by taking out our travel insurance, or proving that you already have sufficient cover in place by providing the name of your insurer and the policy number.

Please note that the European Health Insurance Card (the old E111) is not a substitute for medical insurance. This card gives you access to the same state provided healthcare as a resident of the EU country you are visiting. Cover varies from country to country but usually does not pay for such things as ambulances, rescue and repatriation or even the full cost of a hospital stay or prescribed drugs. It also does not provide any cover for cancellation, travel delay and disruption or your personal belongings.

Pre-existing medical conditions

It is quite common for other travel insurance policies to exclude pre-existing medical conditions, however our insurance will offer cover to customers with pre-existing medical conditions provided that they meet certain health requirements before travel. These requirements can be found here within our flowchart.

Peace of mind for you

Choose 'Plus' for extra cover
All policies have a 'standard' and a 'plus' option, with the 'plus' policy giving you an increased level of cover and carrying no excess in the event of a claim.
