Wonderful water sports, great gelateria

Sant’Angelo is proof that you can have the best of both holiday worlds. You can relax in a wonderful, peaceful atmosphere in the morning, and join the kids as they splash around in a fabulous pool complex in the afternoon.

Here, you can stroll around rose gardens, relax on the private beach or take a dip in the Jacuzzi. The parc is packed with everything you need like a mini market, restaurant, bar, pizzeria, newsagents and gelateria. It’s also activity rich, with beach volleyball, football tournaments, windsurfing and sailing, plus bikes, boats and water sports equipment for hire. Overall the holiday was great, however there were a few minor issues, for example we had no hot water in the caravan and it was not up to standard cleanliness wise. We had to clean the caravan upon arrival which was a bit disappointing. Apart from those issues we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at SantAngelo late August early Sept with our two boys age 6 and 8
We chose here as the kids club clearly stated age category 5-8 and 9-12 so perfect for our boys to go in together as we knew they would want to.
This information was wrong and the camp kids club would have separated them - but adding to this all of the other kids were German so kids club was out for us.
Thankfully we stuck to the beech which was lovely and had plenty of beds and kids enjoyed the play areas and water slides

The site is great - lovely and clean but our caravan accommodation was awful. It was dirty, old and dated and we were right beside a building site. I understand that this was a classic caravan but even so, they are in desperate need of updating.

The Eurocamp reps were non existent - so different to our experience of Eurocamp in France.

My advice would be yes, book the site as its lovely but do not book the substandard caravans offered by Eurocamp

Eurocamp.
The accommodation was basic, old, shabby and not clean. It needs to be updated with a better class of cabin provided. All the cabins seemed to be the same and this was a big disappointment.
The couriers were nice girls but on our arrival we were given a map and told where to go. There was no offer of help with our bags as we had no car....we had flown in to Treviso and then got a taxi to the resort. I would expect at least someone to come with us to our cabin and check all was in place and give us advice on the site and surrounding area...unfortunately nothing.
This was by far the worst accommodation we have stayed in compared to France sites....the campsite did have other companies offering a better standard.

The campsite
Great for kids, good safe and clean swimming pools, night time entertainment which was varied, kids club (although we did not use it), ok supermarket and restaurant, shop and beach bar. The thing that let it down for us was that in the pool you only had two areas to put down towels which were away from the main pool and kids pool. You had to pay for sun beds and this is ok if you can get one. People had booked them for a week or more meaning on many days they are empty but with reserved stickers on them. They should be booked on a one or two day basis to give everyone a chance to use them.
The beach is excellent and we spent most of our time here. Be prepared for sellers to disturb you regularly with there towels, jewellery etc but they are not that bad.
Siesta time is ok, everything shuts down on the site but the kids pool does stay open.

Overall a good site but does not compare to ones we have stayed in the South of France.
Must go to Venice which is a short bus ride and water ferry journey, go early to avoid the mass crowds and don't go at the weekend.

The Parc itself was great, largest we've ever stayed in. If you're after a quiet campsite this won't be for you. Organised kids activities start early, aqua zumba and pool/plaza/beach parties mean that music is playing a lot during the day - although there was quiet time between 1pm-3pm and no music after 11pm. Facilities were well kept, pool was lovely, market/shop area really nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. You need to pre book the sunloungers at the pool, cheaper if you book longer periods. Only downside to the parc was the mosquitoes!! Take insect repellent, wear it, you will be bitten, it's the worst place I've ever stayed for insect bites!
We've stayed with Eurocamp several times and been very satisfied but this accommodation was really shabby, caravans were old and tired, no blind at the kitchen window, mould in the kitchen, bathroom and air conditioning unit and generally unclean throughout. I have pretty high standards when it comes to cleanliness so I thought it was just me - talking to people in the other caravans, I realised they were all the same. I had to reclean the place when we arrived which was disappointing. They need a deep clean at the very least, something I suspect hasn't been done - ever! The Eurocamp girls were incredibly friendly but slightly clueless about the campsite and the surrounding areas. All in all, I'd recommend the campsite, perhaps not the accommodation though! Sorry Eurocamp.

Great holiday. Away with husband and 2 tweens. Parc, beach and facilities fantastic. Accommodation a bit smaller than expected and a bit dated but functional. Only downside really were the mosquitoes. We have never been bitten before on holiday but despite using all types of repellants and the site being sprayed, we were bitten horrendously. Would recommend.

Best holiday ever. The accomodation is quite dated but overall is clean and tidy. It is only about 5 minutes walk to the pool and the beach. Which are both amazing especially for kids. Brilliant pools for kids and jacuzzis and massage jets for adults.
The beach is lovely and clean with an excellent park for kids and volleyball and football tournaments for teens. The food is quite expensive but there is a supermarket about 10 minutes up the road. We paid about 60 euros for a family of 5 at the on site restaurant. The ice creams are very cheap and delicious. The couriers are helpful and very friendly and they are very thorough when cleaning the accomodation after guests have left. The only downside to a perfect holiday are the mosquitos, which unfortunatly bite you no matter what you use to deterr them. Xx
Thankyou eurocamp.

Firstly I would like to commend the condition and facilities at the park, which where very clean and well maintained. Overall we enjoyed our holiday and would potentially return to the area. However there where some elements of the holiday that could be improved

1. The sun loungers at the poolside and beach where never available (always reserved) and very expensive compared to other parks in the area. I have now seen that this was highlighted in the eurocamp package, but nevertheless disappointing.

2. In general the eurocamp couriers where helpful, but a request to repair the toilet roll holder and replace the sun umbrella which was ripped to shreds holder was never resolved.

3. The overall condition of the eurocamp accommodation was below the normal standards from our experience of previous eurocamp facilities. The shower was frequently cold and had little to no temperature control, there was also a number of signs that the accommodation needed replacing or comprehensive refurbished. Example of which where furniture damaged (sofas), worktop laminate splitting and water ingress through air vents in the accommodation.

4. the equipment in the accommodation was not a good when compared to other eurocamp parks. i.e no MP3/radio.
