For a fun-packed family day out visit Aqualandia, Italy's premier water park, where not only are there all sorts of water-based attractions, but also several different shows, adventure golf and even a circus school. Jesolandia is a popular theme park with rides and attractions for all ages and can be reached by a free shuttle bus. ‘The Pearl of the Adriatic’, Venice, is within easy reach of this campsite. To visit one of the most beautiful cities in the world catch the ferry from Punta Sabbioni and travel up the Grand Canal. You can then take a ride on a gondola, have a coffee in St Mark’s square or walk across the Rialto Bridge. The ancient cities of Padova and Verona are also great for day trips.

Festival of San Marco

Festival of San Marco

Held at St Mark's Square in Venice on 25th April, watch the gondola regatta and procession to the basilica in honour of Venice's Patron Saint. The finish point of the regatta is next to St. Mark's Pier.



The Vogalonga is a famous rowing race that began in 1975 and takes place on Pentecost Sunday. Each year more than 400 boats take part, with entrants from over 50 Venetian rowing clubs, as well as people from all over the world; in the past these have included a Chinese crew in a dragon boat and a local resident who has twice swam the entire course of the race! The race starts and finishes in St Mark's Basin, with the course taking the rowers across the lagoon to Burano Island and back through Cannaregio. 2020 dates to be confirmed.

The Pellestrina Regatta is one of the 120 regattas of the Venetian rowing season, and coincides with the colourful feast of the Madonna dell'Apparizione. Spectators can enjoy all the action from the luxury of the shore of the island. 2020 date to be confirmed.

‘Mediterraneo’ is perfect for an active holiday because there is so much to do. The parc offers a host of activities throughout the season, including a windsurfing school that takes place just of the parc’s lovely private beach.

You are surrounded by nature here, which means there are lots of walking and cycling routes to enjoy. As well as on the parc there are lots of great facilities close by. Less than 10 km way you fill find a driving range, stables, golf courses, archery, boat trips and rowing boats. Slightly further out you will also find facilities for quad biking, scuba diving and canoeing.
