Peaceful play, with Venice a short ride away

The first thing you’ll notice at Residence Village? The sense of peace and quiet set amongst fragrant pine trees.

This small, well-maintained site is ideal for relaxing family beach holidays with plenty of culture nearby. On parc there’s a lovely little pool area, with mini waterslides and kids’ pool, plus an attractive sun bathing area to catch those summer rays. There’s a great variety of on-parc entertainment to keep the kids entertained all day, and a modern restaurant and terrace by the pool. The private beach is perfect for kids, thanks to soft sands that gently shelve into clear waves. Residence Village is within touching distance of Venice; just hop on the local bus outside parc to Punta Sabbioni and catch the ferry.

Lovely parc. Amazing pools for kids. Nice beach area. We absolutely enjoyed our stay.
The only little thing is the rather exaggerated siesta time between 13:00 and 15:00. It is somewhat difficult to explain to little children that at this time they are not allowed to play or make noise. Then again we did ignore it just a little bit :-)
Eurocamp reps were very friendly.

Very impressed with pool complex and direct access to beach. Perfect holiday resort for families with young children (like us). Animation team friendly and fun making it easy for my kids to join in.

Day trips to the local islands and Venice were very easy and the bus stop right by the resort made it very straightforward to reach the main Port.

Ronald (Eurocamp courier) was excellent and his local knowledge helped us during our stay. He was great with our kids and made things very relaxed for us on arrival.

Only criticisms were, at times, the service in the restaurant was slow and the Mosquitos were a pain when it started getting dark.

Overall, we all loved it and gutted to have left such a lovely location!

This place was absolutely amazing. Recommend it 100%. In fact, already have done to some friends who have booked for next year! I took my two children who are 8 and 10 on holiday by myself for the first time. Couldn't have been better (other than arriving to the aftermath of a tornado, but that was nature, not parc!!) for all of us. The pool and beach were lush. Pictures do not do it justice. Both were safe, clean and well run. The life guards around the pool were on it with their whistles, making sure it was a safe environment, stopping kids from bombing etc... I felt like I could properly relax and let the kids have fun and roam free.
Practical advice: Sunbeds at the pool are worth it for 2 euro for half day or 3 for full day. Forget it at the beach, there are hardly any, they cost alot, just take a big blanket, spread it out and get rotating in that sun! Great and cheap activities on the beach. We did SUP for 5 euro for 30 mins and the pedalos were only 10 euro for an hour. Paid much more in other places.
When I read the reviews before I went, some people were negative about the siestas. Personally I found them a lovely part of the routine, everyone going into shut down and heading back to their caravans. Beach obviously doesn't shut down so if you need that extra tanning time, then head there!
The whole parc environment was really special. Groups eating out together on the pine tree lined roads, kids playing on scooters, people wandering around... it was truly magical.
The entertainment was hilarious in part (Mr & Mrs competition - genius), poolside beer ping pong and beach party with colour explosion on the bank holiday for example. And also really kid friendly - they were mesmerised by the fire dancing and the cabaret. Even watched Finding Dory in Italian with German subtitles ! Only downside (but is it? I didn't care at all in the event) was the rubbish wifi. So awful and expensive it just wasn't worth it.
As others have said, the campsite is primarily Italian and German, but it was lovely not to hear loud British voices around you and tune out and relax.
I hired a car which really was a waste of time. Used it twice in 10 days to pop into Jesolo (like a dodgy Puerto Banus, but still good for people watching) and to go to eat by the lagoon. Local buses were ok if you wanted to get around. We went into Venice which was a bit of a mission in the heat on the bus and boat but obviously worth it when we arrived.
The accommodation was good. We had an esprit. It's small but fine and the weather was good so we spent hardly any time in it, just hung on the deck out the front and sat inside to cool down and chill out during siesta.
Ronald, the eurocamp rep, was fab, helpful about where to go and what to do, stopping by for a chat and generally encouraging us to have a chilled holiday.
Honestly, I loved this place. It's not sophisticated, it's not in the centre of a particularly stunning area, but it is near Venice which is just stunning and the way the campsite is run, and its facilities, is spot on. I would almost go back if there weren't so many places in the world to see. Definitely a Eurocamp convert though. Will be doing a campsite with them again next year. Brilliant brilliant holiday.
