NEW to Eurocamp for 2018!

Super-sized pools and sun-soaked days alongside the Adriatic

Italy’s stunning Venetian coast is made for family holidays. You'll discover a land where broad swathes of fine, soft sands meet the warm, clear waters of the Adriatic. It's where the fabled piazzas and palazzos of Venice lie in wait - catch a train to the fabled city from nearby Monfalcone, or take a long, leisurely sail along the coast. Closer still, there’s a lot more fun to be had. Welcome to your fabulous home from home on the northeastern coast of Italy.

At Marina Julia Camping Village, the fun starts at the pool – or should that be pools. There’s an Olympic-sized one (complete with diving board for the brave), a lazy river, kids pool and water chutes and slides too. Sports activities include football, cycle paths and even a windsurfing and kitesurfing school. Travelling with young children? They’ll love the parc’s miniclub, which welcomes children from 4 to 10 years for free fun every day. As you’d expect in Italy, there’s a great restaurant on site: with a reputation for serving seriously great seafood. And a stroll on the beach, before or after dinner? Well, when it’s this close –and this lovely – it’d be rude not to!

Amazing water park, but you have to pay for sunbeds which adds £££. Pitches very close together.

The park is run down and dirty......more like a refuge camp then a holiday park. It's also used as a Germany youth summer camp. So it's full of bored teenagers causing issues which makes It overcrowded.....we were utterly disgusted with the whole holiday. So much so we have lost trust in eurocamp to supply decent holidays and will not book again.

The parc was hard to find - nowhere in the How to Get there blurb does it say that the park is actually called Albatross Camping Village. It is not called Marina Julia Camping Village on the outside, and even when close, it just says Club Sole. This could be easily rectified but hasn't been, and the reps even said they had found the same issue.
The electricity was patchy. Somedays it would go off 5 times, other days it would go off once and on one day it went off for an hour. Apparently they do not have enough electric power to power everyone's electrical needs. This seems to me to be a rookie mistake and for a parc that is as established as this, it was disappointing. It even went off in the night! This was annoying for fridge and freezer items and stopped the air con from working too.
The swimming areas were amazing and made our holiday. The pools were not cleaned at night though, which seemed shocking to me and with goggles on you could see the filth on the bottom on the pool which was not nice. The pool also made our faces itchy (and in other families too) which made me think that instead of cleaning the pool they were just shoving more chlorine in. Perhaps not, but we've never had this issue before when swimming on holiday or at home.
There was not enough room to park our car without going into the pathway.
There is also only wifi in the central area. it is not parc-wide, which was a source of huge frustration for my family and I.
Overall we enjoyed our holiday but although I would recommend this parc, we will not be returning to it.

We had a fantastic holiday at Marina Julia. We had great fun exploring local towns & ventured further taking in Venice and Ljubjana, Slovenia which were both worth the drive. Our two year old loved the pool and play park on site. Caravan was basic but very clean and couriers were lovely.
Park is big and we found it quite noisy at night with the entertainment on site. We also found the caravans very close together so felt we were looking out on neighbours all the time. Our first Eurocamp holiday and I am sure it won’t be our last.

Entertainment is a bit late. Mini disco at 9:15-10:00pm! Park looks like it has residential plots with permanent residents with plots looking a bit rough.
Lots of teenagers causing trouble and taking over small children’s pools and smoking where they think no one can see. Kids loved the slides and the rapids but beach is average. Been at nicer parks but kids enjoyed it.

John and Mara were excellent Eurocamp representatives, couldn’t do enough. Pitches could do with a general tidy up. Also the Parc needs to invest in some kids bikes for hire, as that was a major disappointment. But overall very good.
