- We'd previously stayed at this campsite so knew what to expect. While we were staying the pool was closed as the new pool complex is being built, which we didn't find out until after we'd booked and paid our deposit and booked flights so that was a bit frustrating - and Eurocamp should have had a note on the website telling us this but didn't! The Eurocamp mobile homes are at the back of the site, and there is traffic noise even throughout the night, but we knew this so had earplugs anyway. The campsite is lovely, very clean and good facilities, handy to walk into Bruck and 2 mins drive from the supermarket. There's also some shops by the airport down a back road to get toiletries, clothes and it's a lovely drive up to Kaprun. The mobile home was well stocked for cooking, it was clean enough - although there was quite a bit of dust and a few cobwebs. You get to park next to your home which is handy when getting groceries and arriving back from long trips. It's about an hour to Salzburg - there's a park and ride at Messe directly off the motorway. We went to Krimml, Berchtesgaden, the open air museum near Salzburg, Herrenchiemsee and did the scenic Grossglockner road and the Ferleiten wildlife park. The park was reasonably busy while we were there but it was quiet after 9pm as kids were in bed. The blackout blinds leave a gap at the bottom for light to get in from dawn so if you're a light sleeper bring an eye mask.
