- By the end of our week holiday we were completely won over by Le Ty Nadan.
All the staff from the main site as well as Eurocamp were friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Our initial impression of the site itself was a little disappointing as the grass and flowerbeds looked untidy and unkempt. Our first trip to the pool left us a bit concerned about the general upkeep of the site, as there was a lot of tree debris on the loungers and around the outside pool. HOWEVER we were to learn that right up until the day we had arrived there had been unprecedented rain and bad weather, which explained the debris and as soon as the weekend was over the maintenance team were out in force cutting the grass, tidying and clearing gutters etc (without spoiling the peace!)
The activities available for the children were great and our 10, 8 and 6 year old children had a fantastic time - we had planned in to our holiday spending the fact that some activities such as kayaking, riding, high ropes etc were at an additional cost, but our children made full use of free activities throughout the week too which gave us some freedom to cook meals or enjoy a good book for a short while!
The swimming pool and slides were a real hit with the whole family and the changing rooms etc were kept clean and tidy.
Our caravan was clean and well equipped. We had a small maintenance issue which we raised by entering on a log in the Eurocamp reception office and this was dealt with swiftly and professionally whilst we were still on site.
We visited out of season so the site was very quiet - I imagine in busier times it may be a slightly different experience, it was not unusual for us to be the only family in the pool (which I don't imagine happens often!?) but nonetheless I get the impression that there's enough space for all.
I want to explore other areas of France next year but at the moment this campsite is going to take some beating!
