You're well within easy reach of several sandy beaches, as well as the walled town of Concarneau and the lovely village of Kerascoët. Take a boat trip to the Iles Glénan, or visit the Pont Scorff zoo. Rospico Botanical Gardens are close by, while Parc Animalieur, a unique animal park, is 31km away at Quinquis. Closer to parc, the markets in the town of Nevez are worth a look.

There are lots of lovely quaint French towns to visit for a spot of sightseeing - particularly the old fishing port of Concarneau - a beautiful walled town well worth a visit.

Celebrate the fertile apple orchards with music and dancing in Fouesnant. There are fireworks and traditional Breton costumes galore, with a costume contest on Saturday afternoon, a Grand Parade on Sunday morning and a torchlight procession on Sunday evening.

This annual festival takes place in the heart of Lorient, Brittany every August and is dedicated to the age-old traditions of the Celtic nations. Pipe bands, gastronomy, fireworks, choirs, dance, theatre... This festival has all the ingredients for a fabulous atmosphere. Every year over 700,000 people from across the world are drawn to this corner of Brittany to join in the celebrations. 2020 sees the 50th anniversary of the ever popular festival and is sure to be an extra special event.

Off Parc Activities

If you want to get out onto the water you don’t have to travel far. Windsurfing, waterskiing, canoeing, kayaking, and dinghy sailing can all be done less than 3 km away.
