Aside from the numerous vineyards in the region, there are also many châteaux you can visit, including Château de Pommard. It's located over 50km away but is well worth a visit. A favourite of Napoleon, it has the largest vineyard in Burgundy. The walled city of Beaune is a nice day out, known by many as the wine capital of Europe. Closer to parc is Chalon-sur-Saone, home to the St Vincent Cathedral and botanical and rose gardens.
