The Dali Museum at Figueres is a surreal experience and one of the most popular attractions on the Costa Brava. If modern art is not your thing, head for Sant Ferran Castle - it's one of the largest in the world and has breathtaking views out to the coast, as well as a huge network of underground cistern canals which you can see by dinghy if you book in advance.
