- We, and other family members, have stayed in many sites with Eurocamp and this was the worst reception service of all. After 6-7 hours driving through heavy rain I was unable to access the site in my car as the barrier could not (or would not) be lifted by a member of Eurocamp staff. Therefore I had to park on the opposite side of a busy road with major road works in progress, cross the road in heavy rain, walk up the steep slope past the barrier and walk beyond the site reception to reach the Eurocamp reception. Only then was I given a fob to open the barrier. It is site rules I was told. We had difficulty finding the static we were alloccated and unlike our usual experiences no member of staff accompanied us to find it. We only had any further visits from Eurocamp staff on our last day of the stay as we prepared to leave. As a couple in our 70s this has undermined our confidence in using Eurocamp service again.

Thank you for your feedback after your recent stay at Le Ruisseau.
I am really sorry to hear you had these issues when checking in, the parcs are really strict with security which benefits both the staff on site and our customers and this will be the reason you cannot drive on without being checked in and given a fob.
You are correct, for many years we have shown you to your accommodation this did cause some issues when there were several customers arriving at the same time and the wait to check increased greatly so as we are always looking for ways to improve the service and after lots of research and feedback the process was changed last year.
The couriers should be visiting you a day after your arrival and the day before departure and I am sorry this did not happen on this occasion.
I hope you can understand the reasoning behind the issues you have highlighted and that I have restored your confidence a little and that you will think of holidaying with us again.
