Days Out

Canevaworld

Canevaworld

If all the adventure and excitement is too much then you can spend the day relaxing at Parco Termale del Garda. A thermal source was discovered here which was then made into the centre of a well-being resort which offers body and face treatments. Or if you were enjoying the excitement then you can carry on the fun at Canevaworld. Canevaworld has three main attractions: Movieland with stunt shows and rides, Aquastudios, a tropical island with waterslides, and the Medieval Knight Show, with jousting and feasting.

Gardaland

Gardaland

If you like to be flung around a track then Gardaland offers lots of extreme roller coasters. It is one of the best amusement parks in Italy and not only offers thrilling rides, but also fabulous shows and a Sealife Centre to keep all members of the party entertained.

Peschiera del Garda

Peschiera

Superbly located on the south eastern tip of Lake Garda, in the lovely town of Peschiera with its shops, cafés and restaurants, you have access to some of the most stunning and famous sights in Italy.

Just south of the campsite is Maranello, the present headquarters of Ferrari and the galleria known as the ‘Temple of the Red Road Gods’. Here you can see racing and road car exhibits, as well as lots of memorabilia including hand built die cast models.

Sirmione

Sirmione

Closer to parc, around the lake are some really stunning towns, including Desenzano, the largest town on the lake and home to the lake's largest market every Tuesday. Sirmione is also close by and well worth exploring the fortified harbour and 13th century castle.

Off Parc Activities

This campsite has direct access to a cycle path which leads to the romantic city of Mantova. It also has direct access to a beach. The waters are so beautiful you should make the most of it by trying diving lessons which can be taken just 1 km from the parc.

There is a karting track close to the parc where Formula 1 drivers have practised, so why not have a go yourself and whizz round the 1000 m track at ‘South Garda Karting’?
