Our holiday was wonderful, my 5 and 9 year old LOVED the pool and slides. The lake area was really beautiful. The Eurocamp staff and all staff at the campsite were ever so friendly and helpful. Overall, a fabulous time!

Horsmonden, Tonbridge
Despite what we read in the Brochure & the increased price we paid, nothing was available other than the lake swimming which lake is NOT part of the campsite as suggested in the Brochure. The on-site pool was small & was not large enough nor deep enough to swim - it was essentially some short slides. The high-wires were not open despite the camp being quite full & the Eurocamp canoe was out of action & on inspection has been so for some time. The couriers were inexperienced & did not know the area.

The only good thing was that the van was clean: the gas ran out but the bottles were replaced within minutes.

Overall it was poor value for money.

Hi Gary

Thanks for getting in touch about your recent stay at Le Val de Bonnal.

All of the information we have will be provided by the parc management themselves so we do rely on them informing us of any changes so we can get that updated, I can confirm though that we do have the following information available online. ‘The activities detailed are available all season, unless indicated otherwise. This information is subject to change, and it is possible that some activities may have a charge and/or may remain closed in low season. Please check at the time of booking if there is an activity or facility which is key to your holiday.’ This is ultimately down to the parc themselves and can be changed at any time.

Our on-site team will undergo an extensive training programme but it may have been the first season they have done, so as the season progresses so will their experience which is to be expected. I’m pleased to hear that the accommodation was cleaned to the high standard it should be and I do hope you enjoyed your holiday with us.

Kind regards

We had a good break here, but we cut the visit short as we had four days straight of thunderstorms and were struggling to amuse ourselves. The park is large, the shop was decent, didn't try the bar or restaurant. The caravan was okay, we found it clean and well presented and there was a half decent kitchen knife which made a nice change!

The couriers weren't great: to be fair Orla was pleasant and helpful but her colleagues were not: we asked at reception for help to cut our break short and go to the next campsite a days early to be told categorically we couldn't, initally, then told we'd have to contact head office; fair enough but when we saw Orla in passing she confirmed our belief that reception could have helped with that.

So we waited an hour for head office to open to be told they needed 24 hours notice which we found disappointing; rules are necessary in every business but just dismissing the request out of hand and not even attempting to see if anything could be done is poor customer service.

The result of this conversation was we phoned the next campsite ourselves and the head courier had it all sorted within 40 minutes: why were we flatly refused a reasonable request, twice?
