Here at Lake Idro you're still in easy driving distance of Lake Garda where there are many charming, pretty towns to visit. Gorgeous Salo, with its promenade, shops and restaurants is less than 30km away and most definitely worth a day out. Toscolano also offers superb lake views as well as a variety of bars to relax at. Gardaland offers thrills for all ages and is located less than 70km from the parc, also worth a day out. Then there's Verona and Milan, ideal cities to find that perfect souvenir.

Movieland Studios

Movieland Studios are also just less than 70 km away. This is a movie theme park with lots of stunt shows and attractions. Next door there is also Caneva Aquapark which has lots of big slides and rides guaranteed to get your adrenaline pumping. There are relaxing and child friendly attractions too, such as Coral Bay and the Pirate’s Lagoon.

Lake Idro is beautiful; a haven of tranquillity. To make the most of outdoor life on this gorgeous lake you can hire a boat and marvel at the sights around you. Lake Garda is also picturesque, and is close enough for a day trip.



Gardaland, the largest amusement park in Italy, is located less than 70 km from the campsite. The park has rides for the courageous such as Blue Tornado, Space Vertigo and Magic Mountain, or you could discover the ruins of an ancient oriental temple on board rubber dinghies, or there is Fantasy Kingdom for the children.



For a day out, Salo is less than 30 km away. It has a gorgeous promenade with shops and restaurants, as well as a Gothic-Renaissance style cathedral. Toscolano is also a lovely day out, offering superb lake views and a variety of bars to relax in. You can also catch trips to Lake Valvestino from here.

Off Parc Activities

The beautiful Lake Idro and surrounding countryside is begging to be explored either on foot or by bike, or even canoe. Motorboats are prohibited on Lake Idro so it is the perfect place to swim, or learn to swim. It is also a great place to learn to windsurf – the parc even has its own school. If you want to try some adventure sports then there are lots on offer, from canyoning to mountain biking.

There is a 1000 metre go-karting track not too far from the parc where F1 drivers have been known to practise. There are also stables not too far away, as well as tennis courts and a gymnasium.

The Italian lakes are obviously popular for fishing and the waters are home to more than 30 species of fish, including trout and salmon. In order to fish you must get a licence from the municipal office.
