Gardaland and CanevaWorld are very close to the parc and make for thrilling family days out. Take a stroll into the town of Peschiera and choose from an array of cafés and restaurants. Just 10km away are the beautiful Siguerta gardens and slightly further afield are the ever-romantic cities of Venice and Verona, home of Juliet's balcony, which can be reached by train or indeed by motorway.

Peschiera del Garda

The nearest town to the campsite for you to explore is Peschiera del Garda. Take a stroll into the town, which has huge 16th century fortress walls, and choose from an array of cafés and restaurants.



Just 10km away are the beautiful Siguerta gardens and slightly further afield are the ever-romantic cities of Venice and Verona which can be reached by train or by motorway.



Gardaland is the largest amusement park in Italy, and one of the largest in Europe, offering its visitors no less than 11 different shows each day and 5 themed restaurants. The park has rides for the courageous such as Blue Tornado, Space Vertigo and Magic Mountain, or you could discover the ruins of an ancient oriental temple on board a rubber dinghy, or there is Fantasy Kingdom for the children.

CanevaWorld is very close to the parc and makes for thrilling family days out. CanevaWorld is a huge complex, made up of Movieland Studios, an aqua park and a medieval arena with battle evenings.

Parco Naturo Viva

Parco Natura Viva

Parco Natura Viva is well worth a visit. It is a park split into two – Faunistic Park and Safari Park. The faunistic park features wild animals from European forests and other forestry animals of the world including wolves, wild boar, and pumas. The safari park includes the big wild animals of Africa such as the lion, leopard and elephants. There is also a botanic garden to explore along with a dinosaur park which has life size models of the extinct creatures.

Museo Del Vino


If you would like a more relaxed day out then there are lots of interesting museums close to Del Garda. There are museums dedicated to the olive oil and wine which has made Bardolino famous, where you can see equipment and taste a variety of local products. There is also a great museum where you can see archaeological finds dating back as far as the Palaeolithic Ages. G. Rambotti Museum has arrowheads, weapons, ploughs and much more.

In the city of Monza, just north of Milan, you'll find the Autodromo, home to the Italian Grand Prix, one of the season's most cherished and evocative races. Monza, the Temple of Speed, is the quickest circuit on the Formula 1 calendar, guaranteeing some spectacular racing. 2020 dates to be confirmed.

Off Parc Activities

The parc has great sporting facilities, as does the surrounding area and you even have direct access to the lakeside beach. You can explore the lake by canoe, which you can hire 3 km away, or why not delve into the depths of the water and take diving lessons?

There is a great cycling route which starts in Peschiera del Garda and hugs the coast until you reach Mantova.
