Feast of St Roch

16th August sees the feast of St Roch, the patron saint of Sérignan. There is a procession after mass, where the statue of St Roch tours the city, followed by a parade of riders, horse-drawn carriages, adults and children.  On this feast day the inhabitants bless their horses, co-workers, winemakers, farmers and pets.

Off Parc Activities

Across a small road and a short walk away is a sandy Mediterranean beach for seaside activities. It is a sheltered beach with some of the warmest water in Languedoc and the water is shallow so it is ideal for paddling or body-boarding. It is also fun for banana boating or floating along on a pedalo.

For an active adventure take a canoe trip through the spectacular mountain gorges of the River Orb, or try your hand at scuba diving a Cap d’Agde.
