Made for action-packed outdoor adventures

Welcome to Les Lacs du Verdon, a Provencal parc that offers seriously active holidays. A huge park of oak trees and fragrant scrubland surround this 25-acre site; the outdoors get even greater at Gorges du Verdon, just a short distance away. This is one of the deepest and most beautiful river valleys in Europe and is well worth a drive around to gawp at its dazzling bright green lake (and stop for photos!). This area offers brilliant outdoor activities too, like walking, climbing, rafting and mountain biking.

But there's plenty of activity to be had on park too! There's a great water park with a heated pool and exciting waterslides, including the Spacebowl slide and the 100m SpaceRacer. Back on land there's a large playground for kids of all ages to explore. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, you’ll be able to refuel in the restaurant and bar.

Lovely sight in a very peaceful location. Couriers were brilliant with loads of local information. Would have given the sight ten out of ten but the service in the bar was a bit erratic. There is also no where to walk to locally as the nearest village is a car drive away.

The water park kept the kids entertained. Bit of a shame that the big slides didn’t open until 2pm.

There was plenty to do round Lake du Verdon. Lots of gorge walks and the peddles were a good thing to do.

Good weather even in May / June.

Staff very helpful.

Very enjoyable holiday. Limited as to what to do in and around the park. We had 1 rainy day and there wasn't much we could do other than sit in the mobile. Once weather is nice it was good fun. Could do with an extra slide as queue could be long.

It’s difficult to answer with a simple yes or no on whether I would recommend this park. On the one hand the swimming facilities and water slides were excellent! My kids had an amazing time on them! They also loved the great play park on site. The accommodation was spacious and clean. However, we were disappointed with the shop opening times. It was basically closed most of the day apart from early morning and evening for a few hours. While I am aware we went out of season, there were people staying in the park and it should have been more accessible. The same applies to the restaurant. The menu was very limited and it is not a very attractive place to eat. On the first night (my husbands 40th birthday) the plan was to arrive and have dinner at the park. We could only get some burgers to take away and were told it would be an hour wait (there was nobody in the restaurant) it cost around €31 for 2 burgers and 2 portions of kids chicken nuggets.
On the Eurocamp welcome pack it said that traditional swimwear had to be worn. I understood that as swim shorts and other bathing suits as that is what is traditional in Britain. When we got there we found out that my husband and son needed Lycra swimwear. When the shop finally opened, they did not have any my husbands size. The next day we had to drive to another town to buy them from a larger supermarket. We had been to a French Eurocamp before and this was not a rule. While the Eurocamp couriers were perfectly friendly, I was disappointed that Eurocamp declined my request to help surprise my husband with a cake and some balloons for his 40th birthday which was the day we arrived. I did say I would reimburse them but I was told no. Finally i did feel that the park needed a bit more TLC. We were there for the start of the season and yet the park was covered in weeds and exposed pipes.

Once again, an excellent, good value holiday. Our third time at Les Lacs de Verdon. Accommodation typical of a French campsite. Caravan spotlessly clean and well prepared by exceptionally hard working and conscientious couriers who welcomed us back like old friends.

My wife and I had a great time in this lovely place. The Eurocamp staff Claire and Philip were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay and nothing was too much trouble for them in ensuring we had a great time.

The facilities on site, except the pizza restaurant and bar which were closed throughout our stay, were excellent, particularly the large pools we used most afternoons. The site is well located for both the Verdon Gorge area and for trips into lovely neighbouring villages and down to the sea at Frejus. We will be booking again for next year.

End of the season so expected accommodation to be tired, pleasantly surprised. But bed desperately in need of replacing- tried every one in the place, all had had it.
Quite noisy from road and nearby kennels (? ) but nothing to get upset about.
Can't comment on much besides the shop ( good bread and croissant)as either closed or didn't use. Do go into Regusse old town - perfect idyll and great cake !
