Authentically French, close to fabulous resorts

Nestled in the timeless countryside, yet only 20 minutes from the coast, it's hard not to fall for Parc St James Oasis.

Parc St James Oasis is a large, modern parc set between the Maures and Esterel hills, in the heart of a natural protected area covering 42 hectares of woodland. This distinctly French parc has been designed to create an authentic Provençal experience. All facilities are housed in traditional buildings at the centre of the parc, all surrounding a large, friendly square. There’s a bar and restaurant serving local cuisine, as well as a good shop. But the real attraction is the epic pool complex that includes: 4 pools (one complete with water jets), a wave pool and spray park.

Lovely area and the parc St James was great

Excellent reps who were very friendly and obliging. The Down side was that the Caravans were too close together which affected our privacy. Site very noisy on a night with fighting youths and inefficient security. Even the park was unsafe for the children to play in as there was a drunk French man who approached the children inappropriately.

Too expensive. Pool was so dirty that my son lost 4 dice sticks in the first hour and were unable to see the bottom of the pool. All pools need a good clean. The Eurocamp staff were pleasant enough, but offered cleaning products on last day and l was made to feel like l needed the clean thecaravan. I would always wipes all sides, brush floor and wash pots, etc, but guests should not be expected to clean toilets when paying such a high cost. I used the caravan as a base, but none of the facilities. The Parc needs updating and some money spent. Thankyou.

The parc itself was well equipped and well kept. Pool area and restaurants were lovely.

The accommodation was a little tired but acceptable but the noise levels almost each evening until the early hours were disgraceful.

There were signs on the park indicating quiet time between 12 and 7 am but almost every evening without exception, there were groups of youths noisily congregating opposite our van. We did raise with the reps and they did speak to the onsite security on our behalf. But the onsite security were not that interested. It came to a head one evening when a group of c.50 youths were running around shouting at 3 am! I went across and spoke to security but they did nothing. They were around our van too. Not only noisy but extremely intimidating!

The brochure suggests this is a family friendly parc but it did not feel that way. We had little sleep all week. The behaviour was disgraceful and the security team had no control of the situation. A neighbour did try and get them to move on one evening. But believe it was so bad, the police were called.

I would never visit this particular parc again in high season

Northern Ireland
The park itself was great for us, we had the best pitch although most would not allow for sun loungers and we were disappointed at not being allowed to barbeque. The pools were excellent and very well maintained. The shop on site was overpriced and not well stocked, but we had access to supermarkets nearby. The entertainment in the evenings was very popular but always in French, which may not suit everyone.

Evening entertainment at this campsite made it very noisy, especially considering it did not start until 9:30pm. And the nearby motorway and main road could be heard from our cabin.
