Days Out

riviera, nice

Capital of the French Riviera, Nice boasts a wonderful array of shops, markets and of course beaches. Meander through the narrow streets of the old town, visit one of the great museums, then stroll along the world famous Promenade des Anglais - be warned its nearly 8km long!.

riviera, monaco

Drive (or sail) along the coast to Monaco - the second smallest country in the world. Visit the Grimaldi Palace and watch the changing of the guard, then take a peek in the extraordinarily lavish Monte Carlo Casino, then try out one of the many fabulous restaurants.

riviera, grasse

Up in the hills is the perfume capital of the world. Home to perfumery since the 16th century, there are still around 30 makers here - take a guided tour of a factory and hone your olfactory skills! In the picturesque old town tiny streets wind between 17th and 18th century buildings, up and down ancient steps, passing through arched tunnels.
